Preschool
Mrs. Campbell
KCampbell@alpine.k12.ut.us

I started teaching about 18 years ago when I opened a neighborhood preschool in my home here in Pleasant Grove. I continued for 10 years while my four children finished growing up and graduating from high school. Next I taught Head Start for 2 years in the Jordan School District, but the commute was awful so I took an opportunity to teach Special Ed Preschool at Geneva Elementary for the last four years while going to BYU at night to get my Sp. E. endorsement. This is my first year at Valley View and I am thoroughly enjoying the students and staff here. It is a happy place to work! I have four fun loving children, three married and one single, and eight of the cutest grandchildren in the world. I love the outdoors, playing softball, four-wheeling, boating and just about everything to do with being outside. I love music and I am thrilled to have a piano in the classroom!

This is my second year teaching kindergarten and my first year at Valley View. I love it here! My husband and I have 5 children and a lovely daughter-in-law. My favorite thing to do is be with them. Ultimately I made my way to BYU where I completed a BS in engineering geology and a MS in science education. I began teaching at Logan High School in the mid 80’s and then came back to Utah County where I taught chemistry and geology at Orem and Timpanogos High Schools, coaching basketball, golf, and track on the side. I have been an administrator for 7 years in ASD and am grateful to now be the principal at Valley View.
My wife Diane and I are the parents of 4 children - 2 daughters, which are college graduates and 2 sons that are still attending Timpanogos HS.  My wife is a fabulous teacher at Mt. Sean Gallacher, Psychologist
sgallacher@alpine.k12.ut.us

I am originally from Southern California. While I always thought I would be a surfer, snowboarding has been a really fun substitute! I love sports and other activities - primarily basketball and tennis - and have recently started golfing. My motivation for being a School Psychologist has been driven by my past. I was raised in the poorer part of town and I am the only one of 5 siblings to graduate from high school. As part of my studies, I researched "resiliency in at-risk youth" and found that as a school psychologist I could be a resource in helping children overcome some obstacles to be successful in life. So I knew this was the place for me! I am now married and have a beautiful baby boy that my wife and I adopted (we are huge adoption advocates) and I am loving life!
